Job description
The Controls Engineer will serve as a part of the Rainstamp manufacturing department and oversee automated equipment needs of the plant. This role will design, program, test and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for custom designed automation projects.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing and documenting control system testing
- Reviewing reports and test results
- Designing and developing components
- Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
- Maintaining quality and safety standards
- Troubleshooting issues with controls systems
- Performing and maintaining an inventory of all control systems
- Controls engineer must be master multitaskers. Your goal is to ensure that the plant is running smoothly and efficiently while also meeting quality and safety standards. You will design, implement and maintain processes that help manufacturing increase productivity.
- Controls engineer must be adaptable, striving to find creative solutions to problems as they arise and assist in the implementation of predictive maintenance plans. They must be able to analyze plant processes and help make improvements based on their extensive knowledge of electronics, engineering, and mechanics.
- Controls engineers must also be excellent communicators, as their work often requires them to work with many departments and external entities in order to accomplish goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 7-10 years minimum experience
- Field Experience
- Field Debug Experience
- PLC Programming
- Project Creation
- Control Panel Wiring
- Must be able to troubleshoot issues on various PLC platforms and electrical components.
- Project Commissioning Experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $112,000.00 per year
