Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document patient behaviors and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote a safe and therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mental health or related field preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care, senior care, dementia care, or behavior management systems is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Familiarity with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Experience working in a nursing home or similar setting is beneficial

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
