Handle general care tasks such as feeding and administering meds of the animals in the animal hospital.
Assist in restraining animals for veterinary management
Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
Assist the Veterinarian as needed. May also be required to work kennels if needed. Run laboratory equipment. Handle drawing blood, urine, run fecals, etc.
Must be able to lift and hold at least 50# dogs
Assist in surgeries, etc.
Able to work all shifts needed. Daytime, weekends, and or holidays
Qualifications:
Previous experience in veterinary clinic required. Vet certification from an accredited school a plus. (May offer training for the right motivated individual)
Passion to help and treat animals. Ability to stand on feet for numerous hours.
Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable transportation and reliable. Must be Team Player, And have dependable childcare is a must.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
