Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, your primary responsibilities include:
- Administering physical agents utilized in physical medicine to patients, following physician directives and under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Supervising support staff.
- Performing housekeeping duties as needed.
- Fulfilling various other duties as requested or required by the supervisor.
Experience:
- Prior Work Experience: One year of experience as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with physical therapists.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to adapt treatment plans as per patient requirements.
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic exercises.
