The Division of Environmental Health Epidemiology (DEHE) within the Bureau of Epidemiology (BOE) is seeking a Statistical Assistant to support its mission of promoting and enhancing the environmental health and well-being of all people in Pennsylvania. As a key member of the division, you will lead the day-to-day moderately complex clerical and administrative tasks related to the division's grants and projects. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As a Statistical Assistant, you will be responsible for moderately complex clerical work pertaining to various projects and grants within the division. You must maintain knowledge of various grants and projects and independently apply this knowledge in deciding the best course of action to resolve residents’ concerns related to environmental health issues. In this role, you will also provide administrative support and maintain, monitor, catalog, triage, and respond to inquiries received via e-mail resource accounts and incoming phone calls.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
