Summary:
The Finance and Admin Associate plays a pivotal role in the seamless operation of our manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for a variety of actions that support several departments, and requires a versatile individual who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. In many cases, this role will be a back-up to the primary responsible person within the business. This position reports to the controller.
Responsibilities:
Sales:
· Enter orders and forecasts into the system.
Customer Support:
· Interact with customers to support their requirements.
· Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries promptly.
Finance:
· Assist with financial analysis and planning activities.
· Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
Accounting Records:
· Perform administrative actions for accounting records.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
· Create and analyze back-up documents to support accurate financial records.
Manufacturing:
· Assist with material receiving, job creation, and production scheduling.
· Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely job execution.
ERP Operations:
· Work within the ERP system as required, supporting various departments through accurate data management and analysis.
Purchasing:
· Support activities related to raw material procurement, purchased components, and outside services.
Office Support:
· Support all office activities, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the administrative team.
Requirements:
· Education: Associates degree in Business Administration or a related field.
· Technical Skills: Proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
· Independence: Ability to work independently to accomplish a wide range of tasks, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
· ERP Proficiency: Experience working within an ERP system, with a strong understanding of its functionalities and applications in a manufacturing setting.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage communications with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
· Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Spanish is a plus.
