Job Title: Receiving & 3PL Lead Department: Operations/Receiving

Job Summary:
Oversees and coordinates receiving processes and specific 3PL processes according to established operating procedures by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Oversee receiving processes and personnel to make sure work meets quality and safety standards and is performed according to established procedures.
· Monitor with manager and supervisor to coordinate personnel and resources as necessary to complete all work scheduled for department.
· Operate, lift, trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move parts to proper locations and load and unload trucks as necessary.
· Provide training of current and new employees in all appropriate procedures and processes required to complete work assignments.
· Assist with development, revision, and enforcement of inventory management and procedures including record keeping, work instructions, ISO procedures, and other standard operational and work practices as necessary.
· Inspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner.
· Receive and sort decommissioned telecom materials for resale or recycling activities through TAM(Teltech Asset Management) software system.
· Oversee the receipt of purchased goods verifying counts and quality, complete transactions to receive product, process paperwork and complete all necessary transactions according to established procedures. Locate product to the appropriate areas according to procedures.
· Complete NetSuite inventory transactions to receive, assign location, and issue inventory as required.
· Assist to cycle count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems.
· Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
· Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with co-workers and management.
· Required to act in a manner that is in accordance with current ethical standards and promotes a positive public image for the organization and the profession.
· Recognizes customer satisfaction as a priority and will make ongoing efforts to assist both internal and external clients in a courteous and professional manner.

Required Skills/Competencies:
· Extremely dependable with the ability to stay on task and work in both a supervised and unsupervised capacity.
· Skilled with simple hand tools.

· Experienced and licensed forklift operator.
· Communicate effectively to team members and management.
· Understands the importance of safety and abides by all safety regulations and policies.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

- Good written and oral communication skills.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
· Previous experience in a warehouse environment required.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
· Work is performed in a warehouse environment with medium to high levels of activity and associated noise.
· Exposure to both indoor and outdoor work areas includes temperatures that vary from high heat in summer to cold conditions in winter.
· Handle telecommunications electronic equipment that may contain hazardous materials such as batteries, PCB’s, mercury and freon.
· Lift up to 50 pounds at times and have the stamina to stand for 8 hours.
· Reaching, stooping, and crouching to access inventory, and push, pull, sort and stack equipment.
· Operate lift trucks, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely.
· Manipulate and handle small tools.
· Inspect and read labels with small print and barcodes.
