As a multi-discipline firm, Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
We have an opportunity for an experienced, detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to perform various administrative tasks (such as reception, data entry, and scheduling) primarily for our Code Services team in our team in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit invoices, enter checks, scan checks retrieved for accounting records, monitor AR

Draft and submit proposals, and data entry of new projects into permitting system

Format and prepare various forms and letters, such as Notice of Violation, Rental, Building Review Letters and Certificate of Occupancies

Create and complete Field Inspection Reports for the code official and send to municipalities
-
Collate and insert revised plans into existing plan sets and stamp for approval for PA UCC Code Compliance
-
Complete supporting documents for the plan review/permit approval process
-
Assist Operations Manager in delegating/delivering/and monitoring status of plan review assignments
-
Copy and scan approved permit sets and save to the designated job folder
-
May assist Fleet coordinator with company vehicle maintenance records/logs and assist with shuttling cars to service appointments

Greet clients/answer phones, as needed

Prepare outgoing mail and FedEx packages

Pick-up and/or deliver items from/to local municipalities
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma
-
Prior administrative experience
-
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
-
Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and MS Publisher experience (a plus)

Proven editing and proof-reading skills
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Knowledge of office equipment functions and capabilities
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to the needs of several people in a timely fashion

Valid driver’s license - to make local deliveries
-
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and carry up to 35 pounds (i.e., rolled plans).
