Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing Sales Team: You will be responsible for managing and leading the sales team, which includes hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating sales personnel.
- Setting Sales Targets: As a sales manager you'll set sales goals and targets for the sales staff based on overall business objectives and market conditions.
- Monitoring Sales Performance: Track sales team performance against targets and goals, analyzing sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Ensuring the dealership maintains an appropriate level of inventory to meet customer demand.
- Customer Relations: Addressing customer concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Sales Strategy Development: Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase sales volume and profitability, considering market trends and customer preferences.
- Promotions and Advertising: Collaborating with marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns and advertising strategies to drive sales.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing: Assisting sales staff with negotiations and closing deals with customers to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Financial Management: Managing budgets and expenses related to sales operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring compliance with dealership policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. Handling documentation related to sales transactions and customer contracts.
- Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field
- Fluent in Spanish or other languages is a plus (multilingual)
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products and services
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing calculations and financing options
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
