Objectives of this role
American Equipment is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team
Responsibilities

Accurately input new customer data into accounting software, ensuring information correctness and proper documentation filing.

Complete vendor forms on behalf of new customers and transmit required information.

Maintain pertinent financial records within client and project files.

Communicate with customers regarding overdue invoices via email, phone, and other channels; actively manage collections.

Facilitate payment processing, typically via virtual credit card, by verifying and recording receipts and resolving discrepancies.

Record and reconcile checks, VISA transactions, and bank activities to customer accounts.

Perform administrative duties including data entry, invoice preparation, bill reminders, filing, and customer communication regarding account inquiries.

Collaborate closely with team members and branches to ensure comprehensive customer care.

Provide accounting support to the Controller as necessary.

Generate management-requested reports.

Contribute to special projects as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.
