POSITION SUMMARY
The Driver Check-in Associate is a crucial part of our Day Warehouse Operations. This
individual is responsible for performing inventory control functions. Recording and
maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced for accuracy and
quality. Ensures that quality product is available according to customer orders. The
record of information in the ERP system demands accuracy and timely input. This
position will work closely with Warehouse, Transportation, A/R, and Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
- Oversees and maintains inventory, by identifying, labeling, and placing materials,
products and supplies in proper inventory location.
- Oversees and maintains in-process inventory at work centers (Breakage Room).
- Accurately documents materials, product and supplies disposition utilizing onsite
ERP system.
- Receives and processes credit-return material. (RA’s)
- Maintains material-handling equipment including pre-use inspections, and the
initiation of repairs as needed.
- Complete cycle counts.
- Runs Inventory reports, investigates inaccuracies, and reports findings to
management.
- Moves received stock into designated inventory areas; ensuring products are
shelved in a timely manner to expedite the filling of daily orders.
- Completes Replenishments as needed.
- Maintains physical inventories, cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- General upkeep of the work area observing safety, security and regulatory
procedures.
- Maintains an efficient and organized stock room/warehouse where products are
stored according to specifications.
- Performs additional duties necessitated by job or as requested by Inventory
Management, such as assisting with employee training, monitoring supplies,
download temperature monitors, etc.
- Assure that all products meet quality standards of USDA and Customers
- Inspect quality of products and repack product to meet the demands of customer
orders as needed.
- Assist in shipping and receiving responsibilities, unloading trucks, and checking in as needed.
