Caregiver Job Description
Overview:
We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care, behavior management, home care, meal preparation, and direct support. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to residents with daily living activities.
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times.
- Assist with lifting and transferring residents as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper care for residents.
- Engage residents in social activities and promote a sense of community.
- Document resident care activities accurately.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving, particularly in dementia care and assisted living settings.
- Proficiency in providing direct support and assistance to individuals.
- Knowledge of home care systems and meal preparation techniques.
- Ability to effectively manage behaviors and provide emotional support.
- Capability to lift and transfer residents safely.
- Understanding of resident rights and privacy regulations.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards residents' needs.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
