- What: Close Personal Protection Agent
- Compensation: $50 / hour
- Where: Watertown, Massachusetts

The Close Protection Agent (EPA) ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Personal Protection Agent, as well as training in self-defense and first aid. He or she will be responsible for the safety and security of our client and will provide close personal protection in a variety of settings. The Personal Protection Agent will be required to have an armed security license with the state of Massachusetts. The Personal protection agents are responsible for protecting the lives and well-being of clients and employees who are in an Office enviroment.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Providing security for executives and other individuals who are targeted for attack due to their position or prominence
- Coordinating with local law enforcement agencies to ensure efficient and effective security during events
- Conducting risk assessments to determine potential threats based on the nature of the event or location
- Planning security measures such as using bomb-sniffing dogs, providing security personnel with weapons or other equipment, or installing security cameras or other monitoring devices
- Escorting individuals, may include using specialized vehicles that are equipped with secure safes or cages
- Communicating with security staff to ensure they are aware of all pertinent information regarding an event or individual being protected
- Acting as a personal bodyguard for high-profile individuals such as politicians, entertainers, athletes, or business leaders
- Providing security services for individuals and locations by monitoring premises for signs of intrusion or theft and taking action to prevent crimes from occurring
- Conducting investigations of accidents or incidents involving clients to determine liability for damages
- May require to drive the client to different locations

Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or another closely related field is a plus
- Credentials for the state of Massachusetts: Executive Protection, Personal Protection Security License, Private Investigator License or Armed Security License , concealed carry.
- Law enforcement background is a plus.
- Experience minimum 4 years
- Must be able to stand long periods of time, able to lift up to 50 lb.
