Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming & outgoing shipments and ensuring accuracy in receiving and storing products. Duties & Responsibilities:
· Receive, inspect and stock all incoming goods. Organize and stage materials for specific work orders. Coordinate paperwork with purchase orders from office.
· Inspect, prep and skid shipments for deliveries. Coordinate shipping paperwork to ensure accuracy of deliveries.
· Assist in the development of the inventory management and control systems. Maintain inventory control, materials management and other related procurement and operational activities.
· Organize and maintain inventory of all materials and shop supplies.
· Pull material from inventory for current work orders.
· Perform shop and yard cleanup as required and participate in safety audits. Maintain the shop and grounds to be a safe, clean and well-organized work area.
· Complete and submit paperwork efficiently and accurately.
· Provide on-going support to project management and engineering. Provide hands on assistance to production personnel as necessary
· Manage all incoming / outgoing shipments / deliveries for all forms of transportation – UPS, FedEx, LTL, full trailer / flat bed.
· Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all incoming / outgoing shipments and inventory.
· Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
· Other miscellaneous tasks as required.
Qualifications:
· Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor.
· Tow Motor/Lift Truck experience a must!
· Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and work well in a team environment.
· Must be able to work independently.
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask.
· Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
