Our company is an independent investment advisory firm founded in 2017. Our team leverages 35 years of experience to provide clients with a deeper level of advisory insight with research, security analysis, portfolio management and wealth management strategies.
We serve a varied group of clients around the country that include business leaders, executives and high net worth investors. Our clients typically have a net worth of over $2 million.
We are looking to grow our team with the addition of a skilled and dynamic sales specialist whose focus will be on business development.
Responsibilities include:
- Develops new business relationships
- Contacts prospective clients to gain an understanding of the client’s financial goals
- Presents information and explains available financial services
- Builds and maintain lasting relationships with clients to meet their needs
- Generates leads for prospective clients
- Sources from current customers, referral leads, marketing activities, networking opportunities, social media, etc.
- Conducts cold outreach through phone calls, email, and social media strategies
- Networks in the community on behalf of the firm
- Assists with operational support as needed
- Gathers and updates client contact information in database
- Completes paperwork to open new accounts
- Manages documentation and database information
Qualifications:
- Prefer Series 7, not required.
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills.
- Integrity, focus, self-starter, outgoing, openness to new skills and ways of thinking to stay competitive.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
- Desire to work with a Team, share a vision for our culture and common goals.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
- Some knowledge of the investment management industry.
