An energy and utilities client is looking for a
Dispatcher with SAP who will manage the trouble order process for Vegetation Management.
Location: Rialto, CA 92376
Position: Dispatcher with SAP
Pay: $35/hr. on W2
Duration: 18 months or longer
Schedule: Hybrid - 1 day a week (Wednesday) in Rialto
Shift: M-F, 7 am to 3:30 pm, OT will be required when it comes up and it could be up to 1-2 hours. May also need to work on the weekends but can be flexible on day/time and it will be OT.
Responsibilities:
In support of public safety, and vegetation management, mitigate risk with wildfires, storms, and weather conditions. The territory that will be supported; is Bishop to Blithe about 50,000 miles of coverage.
- Works with folks out in the field. Will be in support of the folks in the field, tree removal, ensuring overall public safety, responsible for ensuring the folks in the field have what they need to be successful in addressing the concerns brought forward by the customers
- Notifications will come through various methods, systems, phone calls, etc. These resources will need to pick up the notification, gather all necessary info, make an assessment, and then action to dispatch the field works to address the issue.
- To support the trouble order process. System notification/request. About 30, 000 a year of notifications and weather conditions are reported.
- Morning is spent dispatching work from the day prior. Managing pending work to ensure it moves along in the process and close trouble orders.
- Managing systems tickets from start to finish.
- Vendor, and contractor interaction as well as internal manager communications. Accurate with details about the tickets, conditions, address, location, and ability to interact with the folks in the field. Need to ensure you gather the proper information to relay it to the field who needs to remove the vegetation.
Required Skills/Attributes:
- Associate’s degree in a related field required. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred
- At least 3 years of customer service experience.
- Self-starter, attention to detail, ask questions, team player, able to engage and pivot.
- Task-oriented, knows how to gather details, and ensures the field knows everything about what they are being dispatched to do.
- Assess, and decide on the condition. Solid communication; written and verbal.
- Technical background with SAP, land vision, and work management systems.
- Proficient in Excel. Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, & sorting/filtering
