Tangy Noodle is a Sichuanese restaurant located in Manhattan’s Chelsea seeking a kitchen manager.
From signature prawn noodles to red chili mouth-watering chicken, Tangy Noodle puts innovative, creative twists on timelessly loved Sichuanese food.
As the kitchen manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Training and teaching new cooks how to prepare our dishes
- Following our existing SOPs and collaborating with head chef to create SOPs
- Maintaining a clean kitchen
- Being knowledgeable about cook times, safe storing of ingredients, and proper cook temperatures
- Delegating work to the cooks
- Ordering ingredients and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked at all times
- Remaining knowledgeable of allergens and ingredients in all dishes
- Collaborating with servers and front of house staff to ensure customer satisfaction
