Job Summary:
The Supervisor Audit and Assurance position will manage and conduct Reviews, Audits and Compilations of winery and Not-For-Profit financial statements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Project Management from beginning to end.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Familiar with Not-For-Profit audits.
- Experience with reviewing work of others.
- In depth GAAP knowledge.
- Examine assigned financial records and statements for accuracy.
- Possess the capability to prepare winery cost accounting as part of engagements.
- Analyze financial data for presentation to firm’s customers.
- Review and/or assist with preparation of financial statements and records.
- As needed, assist with accounting duties for and corrections to listed financial records.
- Contribute to a team-oriented firm culture.
- On the job training of staff in technical areas.
- Assist as needed with preparation of annual financial reports.
- Perform extensive research when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Expert knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficient with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Can multi-task and prioritize tasks with minimal involvement.
- Excellent written, verbal and video communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
- CPA certified with A&A designation.
- Experience in agriculture or manufacturing helpful.
- Tax experience helpful, but not required.
- Five years of experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
