JOB TITLE: Customer Support Specialist

ACS is a value-added distributor in a growing industry and the Sales Support team is an integral piece of our operations, supporting the sales process through daily interactions with customers. This position works in cooperation with our Outside Sales team, in addition to having a high amount of collaboration with all other ACS departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer all inbound calls and emails. This may include discussing product features, pricing, freight terms, stock, tracking, shipment info, creating return authorizations etc.
- Log all calls and update pertinent customer data in Salesforce.
- Provide product support to resellers and end users.
- Perform order entry, including taking orders from authorized resellers.
- Obtain credit approvals.
- Provide materials to customers as needed, including flyers, catalogs, etc.
- Provide support to all Sales staff including customer quotes, RMA's, participating in conference calls, completing customer specific data sheets, and literature requests, etc.
- Make outreach calls to current customers to recommend products, boost sales and foster relationships.
- Participate in trade shows (when local).
- Support all departments within ACS, including cross training in those departments.
- Other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two year associate’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred but not required
- Two years of customer service or inside sales experience a plus
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus to meet deadlines
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
- Proficient in Office 365, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems a plus
Compensation: This is a full time hourly position. Wage is commensurate with experience.
