*Overview:*
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying strategic business opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and driving staffing revenue growth within the IT sector. This role requires an understanding of the IT industry, strong sales acumen, and a proven track record of success in business development. The role will be heavily focused on “hunting” for new accounts in the beginning. Then, it will evolve into a blended role which includes both “hunting” and “farming“ as you acquire new accounts and grow existing accounts.
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to generate new leads and expand revenue within the IT sector.
* Identify key decision-makers and build strong relationships with prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques.
* Collaborate with the recruitment team to understand client needs and tailor staffing solutions that meet their requirements.
* Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring profitable and sustainable business relationships.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to optimize business development strategies.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience (2+ years) in IT sales within the staffing industry.
* Understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Results-driven with a focus on exceeding targets and goals.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Master’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
* Existing network of contacts within the IT industry.
* Experience using CRM software
* Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
