Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community since its founding in 1890. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence, a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.
The Patient Care Technician in Behavioral Health provides care to meet the emotional, rehabilitative, and psychical needs of the psychiatric patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing treatment objectives under the supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Conducts activity and educational groups on the unit as assigned and documents patient participation
- Monitors patient behaviors and interactions, utilizing observational skills

Qualifications:
- American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification is required
- Experience working as a Clinical Associate, Nursing Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or Psychiatric Technician strongly preferred
- Highschool diploma or GED is required

Salary Range: Minimum 17.00 per hour - Maximum 25.92 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
