Responsibilities for this Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to:
Patient Care: Administering medications, wound care, and basic nursing tasks like taking vital signs and assisting with daily activities (bathing, dressing, eating).
Monitoring: Observing and reporting changes in patients' conditions to RNs or physicians.
Documentation: Keeping accurate records of patients’ health status, treatments, and responses.
Communication: Coordinating with other healthcare professionals, updating family members, and educating patients about their care plans.
Support: Assisting RNs and physicians with procedures and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Safety and Hygiene: Ensuring a clean and safe environment, preventing infections, and adhering to healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Job requirements for the Licensed Practical Nurse:
1.Graduate of a nationally approved Nursing program is required.
2.Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
3.Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing
