Senior Analyst for Production and Maintenance Optimization
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Analyst with a strong background in logistics and maintenance to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to produce corrective actions based on root cause analysis, which address key drivers impacting poor production quality, constraints, reliability and repair throughput for high-visibility or mission critical aspects of our programs. This position's objective is to recommend improvements in efficiency, production quality, reliability, and material condition of components, equipment, and/or aircraft. You will help our customers to identify and implement product support strategies to address sustainment constraints and to mitigate costly solutions. The ideal candidate will have direct experience or working knowledge of Commercial or DoD Reliability Control Boards or similar organized process for evaluating root cause, and planning and implementing corrective actions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep analysis of logistics supportability and maintenance functions across the full spectrum of life cycle planning
- Use your expertise in Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Planning, and Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis to evaluate components, repair lines, systems, etc.
- Provide recommendations and develop action plans to address identified root causes and constraints which improve overall production performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that deliver measurable results
- Work independently and lead the efforts of less senior staff
- Develop timelines, owners, and high-level actions plans for integrating top corrective action recommendations
- Identify production process issues related to high failure rates to improve production quality and increase reliability
- Identify opportunities to reduce the impact of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) throughout the Industrial Supply Chain
- Identify and provide recommended courses of action for Industrial Supply Chain risks and issues impacting production throughput.
- Assess various constraints and build a high-level plan for execution of highest impact solutions for the entire Industrial Supply Chain including governance and oversight
- Identify top components impacting program performance, provide and update key meetings, governance, reporting cadence, structure, and high-level actions plans for performance improvements
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field such as MBA, industrial engineering, systems engineering, data analytics or related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program
- Advanced knowledge of root cause analysis and Lean and Theory of Constraint principles
- Advanced knowledge of production processes and techniques
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead and manage the efforts of less senior staff
- Experience with acquisition Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, and Operational Availability analysis
- Must possess or be able obtain an active secret security clearance
- US Citizen
Knowledge Required of Position:
- Familiarity with organizational, intermediate and depot maintenance practices and policies (multi-service)
- Familiarity with Supportability, Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability performance metrics
- Ability to gather, make input to and analyze a variety of maintenance program information, assesses maintenance program progress, and effectively communicate recommendations orally and in writing to the lead
- Experience with DoD Aviation Platforms and desire F-35, F-22, or F-18 experience
