Summary:
Working under the direction of the WSRCA Director, Contracts, the Contract Manager I will perform routine to complex (entry/journey-level) contract management work. Work involves assisting in developing and evaluating a broad range of contracts. The Contract Manager I will work under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
The Contract Manager I is responsible for contract compliance with government regulations, performance expectations, resolutions and contract details. Additionally, the Contract Manager I will assist with supporting assigned contracts with cost analysis, tracking and MOU documentation creation and administration.
Primary Duties:
o Supports and oversees assigned contracts:
- Review and ensure compliance with governing regulations, performance, resolution, and termination as needed
- Assist in developing and maintaining documents such as applications, award letters, MOU’s, financial agreements, and tracking sheets
- Assist in developing documents such as memorandums, minutes, reports, program guides, and amendments
- Prepare, process and maintain invoices and related tracking sheets
o Follow applicable desk aids for contract management processes
o Provide information and technical assistance to inquiries from sub recipients, contractors, and community partners
o Prepare and submits required reports timely.
o Confer with the Contract Manager II as necessary to plan and carry out recurring contract management tasks using established procedures
o Assist with procurements as needed
o Attend external meetings and conferences to represent WSRCA as needed
o Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Acquisition and Contract Management, or related field of study
o Equivalent education plus progressively responsible experience in the direct field may be considered on a year for year basis
o Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities required
o Excellent collaboration, analytical, oral, and written communication skills, and intermediate proficiency in MS office products is required
o 1-3 years’ experience in contract administration and fund allocation preferred
o Able to travel locally or statewide
