The pay range for this position is $45,770- $61,870 / annually. This position is based onsite at our Cranford, NJ facility.
General Job Description
The HR Coordinator will support our Wonder sites (4) and help ensure that our FreshRealm employees have all the support and resources they need. The ideal candidate must be an organized team player who is able to manage multiple priorities at once. They will be immersed in all things related to our employees, and will support HR initiatives, projects, and programs. This role requires a self-starter, who is detail oriented and completes tasks and assignments in a timely fashion.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Objectives of this Role
- Acts as a point of the contact for employees
- Proactively supports the delivery of People Processes
- Contributes to cross-functional People Projects
- Manage and facilitate new hire onboarding by supporting operational processes across the employee lifecycle, including new hire administration and experience. Ensuring that the onboarding process is seamless, welcoming and presents the best that Blue Apron has to offer!
- Support our employees by providing guidance and answering questions that they may have. Being the first point of contact for all questions, routing escalated issues to the appropriate People team. Research and troubleshoot all inquiries related to policies, procedures, etc.
- Perform HRIS transactions and administer leave of absence, employment verification, unemployment, compliance, etc. Work closely with People Operations team to maintain data records by conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy
- Utilize and/or develop resources that provide employees with reference materials to ensure that HR information is available to them
- Serve as contact of the Wellness team responsible for coordinating and communicating leave start & end dates to our employees and the onsite leadership team.
- Work with leadership and People Operations to enhance processes and increase efficiency
- Support People team on projects, audits, and initiatives
- Be proactive in making data driven recommendations and identify areas of process improvement and automation opportunities
- Work with the payroll department on payroll related issues or questions.

- Proficient skills in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to problem solve and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy, timely delivery of projects and highly proficient organizational skills
- Familiarity and working knowledge using HRIS tools; Ceridian Dayforce a plus
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

- Knowledge of USCIS I-9 Verification guidelines and E-Verify processing preferred
Experience / Education
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of HR experience with extensive full cycle recruitment experience
- Working knowledge of employment laws and other compliance issues
- Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite and HR system applications
