We are expanding our Texas operations and looking for someone with bail knowledge/experience (someone who is not currently an appointed agent).

Job Responsibilities
- Utilize good judgment in decision making on all aspects of the agents’ accounts, approve or deny agent requests pertaining to PAR/Rate/Underwriting Authority/Reserve Accounts
- Responsible for negotiating and managing contractual changes pertaining to rates, terms, underwriting authority, collateral and agency ownership
- Accountability for monitoring agent’s progress in all aspects of the account (A/R, expired/issued powers, maintaining adequate reserve balances, discharging liability and reporting habits)
- Provide training and support regarding workflow procedures (eServices, manual reporting, bail procedure, and State law) to all new/existing agents within assigned region
- Communicate pertinent account information with all team members within assigned region
- Manage and evaluate the underwriting process of large bonds by agents within assigned region; mandatory underwriting of large bonds during business hours, and optional on-call after business hours
- Proactively identify “at risk” agent’s and develop, manage and monitor rehabilitation plans for troubled accounts through eSupport
- Negotiate terms of promissory notes and payment plans when applicable
- Daily review of issuance reports in relation to inventory replacement
- Evaluate and monitor the productivity of agents within assigned region
- Proactively conduct strategic account reviews for all agents on a regular basis to review productivity and implement resolutions when appropriate. Conduct agency audits as necessary
- Address agent concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Agent Services or executive level management
- Possess and maintain valid driver license and automobile insurance
- Participate in annual performance evaluation process
Texas Specific Responsibilities
· Serve as AIA appointed officer representing the Company
· Be comfortable with court, county and State employees for communication of any/all business requirements
· Represent professionally in front of Bail Bond Board members and other industry professionals
· Oversight and quality control of Texas licensing applications
· Travel requirements
o Will need to travel 2-3 times per month on average
§ Travel includes attendance for Texas Bail Bond Board meetings, Agent Visits, Audits, Court Visits, Trainings and Association meetings
o Travel methods can be one of the following: personal vehicle, car rental, plane, etc
§ Must have working vehicle (personal vehicle) – some travel will be via personal vehicle
§ Must have valid State Driver License
o Expense Reimbursement for appropriate travel is provided (i.e. transportation, hotel, food costs, etc)
· Location of position
o Ideally live/work in central Texas (Austin area preferred); must also be reasonable distance from major airport (i.e. Dallas/Houston)
Qualifications
Education Requirement(s)
· BS/BA in Business Management preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience Requirement(s)
· Three to five years previous experience servicing clients/customers
· Experience handling multiple accounts/clients/customers
· Bail Agency experience preferred
· Experience in Criminal Justice field – such as: court system, legal office that handles bail/bail-related issues, law enforcement and/or or jail experience a plus

· A general working knowledge of the bail bond industry

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
· May require participation in the LB On-Call group
· Must be fluent in English
Licenses/Certifications
· Texas State Notary Public, preferred
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
· Stand/Sit – Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
· Walk – Needs to maneuver within remote location
· Use hands/fingers to handle/feel – Constantly operates a computer, phone system and other office productivity machinery
· Climb (stairs/ladders) – Occasionally ascends/descends stairs to enter CA facility (when applicable)
· Stoop/Kneel/Crouch – Occasionally positions self to reach files
· Talk/Hear – The person in this position frequently communicates with agents/customers and home office; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
· See/Vison – Must be able to inspect mail, paperwork and documents
· Travel – Frequent travel outside of the home/remote office for agent visits, agency audits, and/or industry association meetings (refer to Texas Specific section above for more details)
· Lift - Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs occasionally

· A ‘Remote Worker Agreement’ will be provided that sets expectations and requirements for remote work
