As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have a wide range of responsibilities in a complex accounting environment with an international presence. Your day-to-day activities will include managing the general ledger, overseeing the month-end close process, preparing financial and management reports, performing financial analysis, supporting audits, implementing process improvements, providing decision-making support, and working on special projects.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely completion of month-end close processes for accurate financial reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting accuracy and procedural efficiency.
- Collaborate with Business Unit controllers and provide necessary reports as required.
- Utilize SAP and Hyperion Financial Management systems for financial close and consolidation procedures.
- Prepare accurate management reporting packages with financial results and key operating metrics.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements following US GAAP and IFRS guidelines.
- Comply with IFRS-16 requirements for lease accounting.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the Accounting department and senior management as needed.
- Undertake special projects to support the Accounting department and senior management as requested.
- Monitor internal controls within the Accounting department and Shared Services.
- Assist with the implementation of accounting and policy changes according to Corporate, Group, US GAAP, or IFRS standards.
- Assist with the annual budget process as necessary.
- Perform activities related to product costing, manufacturing analysis, inventory valuation, and reporting and analysis.
- Review and analyze accounting transactions and financial reports for accuracy and completeness, providing explanations when necessary.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with the company's financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identify and propose automation and process improvement solutions while ensuring timely and accurate completion of daily responsibilities.
Background we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field, with at least 3-7 years of relevant work experience.

- Experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
- Previous employment with a publicly traded international corporation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in IT skills, including SAP, Excel, and HFM.
