SEAMAX FREIGHT INTERNATIONAL, INC (NVOCC/Freight forwarder) is seeking for an Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant.
Position: Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Education:
· High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Punctual, Detail oriented, professionalism is a must
Responsibilities and Duties but not limited to:
- Answers telephones and gives information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls to the appropriate individuals.
- Sets up and maintains paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other materials.
- Opens, reads, routes, and distributes incoming mail and other materials. Prepares answers to routine letters.
- Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy.
- Send emails and faxes.
- Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
- Update appointment calendars.
- Provide general administrative support to the staff as needed.
- Responsible for contacting vendors, temp companies, and maintenance management.
- Complete other job-related duties and projects as assigned
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Punctuality, attendance, and dependability.
