Job Summary:
RapidCare Emergency Room is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our organization, the Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks, AMEX, and PeopleSoft to record financial transactions accurately.
- Perform journal entries and maintain general ledgers for accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in financial report interpretation to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast financial trends and provide insights for strategic planning.
- Support financial auditing processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in private equity transactions and related accounting tasks.
- Handle account receivables and payables efficiently.
- Familiar with financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Matching accounts payable invoices with receivers and purchase orders.
- Accounts payable month-end process year-end 1099 process.
- Assist with annual agency audit preparation and required state and federal pay data reporting.
- Analyze and report on monthly time and labor transactions as required by contract and legislative requirements.
- Month end payroll general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly expense reports.
- Regularly review and assess documented payroll policy and processes to make recommendations to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Manage payroll change requests and maintain position number and job cost accounting procedures.
- Review bi-weekly payroll to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monthly working capital cost allocation.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Preferred).
- Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably with knowledge of private equity.
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Ability to interpret financial reports and provide meaningful analysis.
- Experience in account reconciliation and journal entries.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
