Intellirent provides rental test equipment primarily used in electrical testing function of the utility power testing industry, or at the heavy industrial / commercial level.
Job Title: Production Support Operator
Reports to: Production Dept. Supervisor
Location: Pearland TX
Position Description: This position involves several roles supporting the processing of test equipment as it moves from receiving, through testing, reconditioning, storage, and shipping. Utility Operators are expected to quickly and safely become familiar with new test equipment and general handling / reconditioning practices; follow handling and processing procedures; and revise accessory listings as necessary.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recondition various units of test equipment using documented procedures.
· Ensure all documented accessories are packed with reconditioned equipment.
· Preparing equipment and accessories for shipment, including palletizing / boxing equipment.
· Pack equipment in shipping boxes, using spray foam system.
· Document work using company software for each unit processed.
· Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor, potentially including (but not limited to) receiving equipment; processing units for return, repair, and calibration

· Capable of lifting up to 45lbs or more, and willing to move equipment as required.
Physical Requirements
· All positions will require to some degree the physical abilities described below in order to perform the essential functions of the job
· Work all the expected hours consistently, arrive at work on time and follow company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods
· “Full Time” is 40 hours a week
· Communicate effectively both orally as well as written
· Move around work area, may include climbing ladders or stairs
Hours: This position will be onsite 5 days a week Monday- Friday 9:30am to 6:30pm; hours may extend during seasonal periods of high demand. Production Support Operators may also be asked to work an offset shift (7am-4pm, or 11:30am to 8:30pm.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
