A Regional Skilled Nursing Facilities management team is currently seeking a Regional Director of Business/Census Development. This executive level position is responsible for the census and business development departments in five long term care facilities.
The Regional Director of Business/Census Development will provide support to achieve and maintain the center census goals and annual budget projections to ensure financial viability. • Partner with the center and organization leadership in developing strategies to maximize conversion of referrals to admissions. • Support the center quality improvement process by identifying customer service issues and communicate gaps to the Administrator in an effective and timely manner. • Train Directors and Coordinators on the admission process from referral to admission • Partner with organizations/leadership in updating Admissions policies and procedures • Serve as liaison to PCC with Director of IT for admission functions with EHR (PCC). • Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and resources and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices. • Identify current Managed Care and Physician needs • Act as a liaison between the company, center, and the community. • Maintain resident/patient confidentiality and privacy; treat residents/patients with kindness, dignity and respect; know and comply with the Resident’s Rights rules and comply with HIPAA regulations Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ experience in the SNF admissions process, and (3) sales/marketing in the health care field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including public speaking
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must always possess appropriate professional demeanor
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Electronic Discharge Products
- Must be able to work independently and possess exceptional team building and people skills
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer regulations and referral development reimbursement
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and be able to make effective decisions and work as part of a service excellence team
Responsibilities:
- As a regional director, travel to 7 facilities will be required.
