This is a part-time (20 to 37.5 hours per week) research technician position to work on research investigating mediators and moderators of the effects of physical activity on neuronal integrity, Alzheimer disease biomarkers, brain structure and cognitive function in middle-aged to older adults.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with data collection (exercise testing, actigraphy, cognitive testing, self-report questionnaires, transfer blood samples across WUSM sites).

Assist with data entry, data processing and QC.

Assist with participant recruitment and scheduling.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
This position requires traveling between the Danforth and School of Medicine campuses, and transporting blood samples between locations at the School of Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.

Prior research experience in a psychology research lab.

Experience with SPSS, STATA, and/or R statistical programs.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Ability to work independently, and take initiative.
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.

$16.21 - $21.69 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
