The Role:
We operate from a flexible hybrid model, that supports a healthy work-life balance. For this role, we’re looking for candidates who live close to our Austin office.
Redgate is looking for an experienced Events Marketing Manager to plan and execute innovative and impactful events for our customers and prospects in the AMER region.
Reporting to the Head of Events (based in Cambridge, UK), you’ll be a strategic team player within the global Brand and Communities team. You’ll co-lead our third-party events strategy and manage a small team who deliver Redgate’s attendance at international third-party conferences, as well as our own hosted conferences and events.
Redgate’s events take place across a range of geos and our engagement leaves a memorable impression on attendees, while promoting Redgate as thought leaders, showcasing us as community champions, and generating pipeline for Redgate’s commercial regions. As you’d expect in a fast-paced events marketing management role, you’ll have plenty of responsibilities.
Relationships are important at Redgate, so you’ll need to establish a network and collaborate with peer Events Marketing Managers, regional Marketing and Sales Managers and Directors, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Your Work at Redgate Software:
Collaborate and establish relationships with peer events, campaigns and marketing managers, Sales managers, as well as other internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with brand, graphic and video designers, and web developers to produce digital and physical marketing collateral and campaigns to support the fulfilment of event objectives pre, during and post event
What You Bring to the Table:
Significant experience and a proven track record in event marketing management, ideally in a tech-orientated/B2B company, with experience of in-person expos, conferences, community and bespoke events
Demonstrated multi-project experience, including managing deliverables, budgets, and handling contracts, invoices, payments, etc.
Excellent computer skills, confident and experienced in using MS Office and the ability to learn new tech quickly, including: Salesforce, Marketo, Monday.com, Kaltura and Rainfocus online event platform
Highly organized, self-directed, proactive problem-solver, able to multi-task effectively with a keen interest in prioritizing workload and taking your own initiative in a fast-paced setting
Socially competent, reliable, trustworthy, proactive team player, self-motivated, and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
Excellent interpersonal communications and collaboration skills, with experience and confidence influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders across teams, including marketing, sales, finance and legal
