Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the business. This role involves a combination of managerial duties, administrative tasks and accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide personal assistant support to executives as needed
-Organize and maintain physical and digital files for easy retrieval
-Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
-Utilize computerized systems for data entry, scheduling, accounting purposes and other office tasks
-Assist in training and developing team members to maintain a high-performing workforce
-Work closely with the GM, other city agency staff, volunteers, and local authorities to achieve the shelter's goals and fulfill its mission.
-Assist in documenting client interactions, service provision, and any incidents or concerns that arise. Prepare reports and updates for supervisors agency as required.
-Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to achieve revenue and profit goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in hotel operations or hospitality management roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
