Life as an Associate Director of Sales:
As the Associate Director of Sales with Superhost Hospitality at Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Naperville, you will support the Director of Sales in driving the success and growth of our business.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Director of Sales to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
- Assisting in leading and mentoring the sales team, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, with a focus on Corporate and SMERF market segments.
- Identifying new business opportunities and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Working closely with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience and satisfaction.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for the Director of Sales.
- Identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and revenue growth.
- Ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of sales databases.
- Achieve a strong PACE and exceed revenue goals.
- Conduct outside sales calls to solicit new business and maintain existing client relationships.
- Provide departmental colleagues with proper communication that will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional service
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to the Sales team

Requirements:
We are seeking an individual with the following attributes:
- Proven success in supporting sales teams and contributing to achieving revenue targets.
- Ability to assist in developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a specific focus on Corporate and SMERF markets.
- Keen awareness of market trends and a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
- A self-starter with internal drive to excel.
- Must exude a passion for leading and promoting positivity throughout the department and hotel.
- Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of Hilton OnQ and Delphi is preferred. Previous experience in a senior sales management role within the hospitality industry is required.
- Availability for varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
What to Expect in Your First Few Months:
In your initial phase, you will immerse yourself in the hotel's sales objectives, market positioning, and client base. You will work closely with the Director of Sales and your team to develop and execute strategic sales plans, contributing to the overall success and growth of the business.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
