Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the property management department, focusing on the day-to-day operations of our properties. Duties:
-Experience as Certified Occupancy Specialist by HUD regulation
-Experience with Yardi Management System.
-Experience with Recertification procedure
- Manage and maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Assist with the preparation of contracts, including reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions.
- Utilize property management software, such as OneSite and CMMS, to track and analyze data related to property operations.
- Monitor and resolve any conflicts that may arise between tenants, residents, and staff members.
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop and implement strategies for property maintenance, upgrades, and renovations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify areas of concern and recommend improvements.
- Manage the administrative tasks of the property management department, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing documents.
- Assist with the preparation of budget reports and financial statements.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to attract new tenants and promote the property.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions with staff, tenants, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience in property management, preferably in a multifamily setting.
- Familiarity with real estate administrative practices and procedures.
- Experience with property management software, including CMMS and OneSite.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and experience in resolving disputes between tenants and staff members.
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including those related to property management and administration.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and terms and conditions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in upselling and marketing to tenants and potential residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
