Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Hospice Administrator to lead our hospice care team. The Hospice Administrator will oversee the daily operations of our hospice program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves managing staff, coordinating care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hospice program.
- Manage and support hospice staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and hospice care standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance care quality.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of hospice services.
- Manage the hospice budget and resources efficiently.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns from clients and families.
- Represent the hospice program to external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Valid RN license in Michigan (if applicable).
