Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Summary
The Senior Injection Molding Engineer will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process, focusing on process optimization, mold design, and troubleshooting. This position requires extensive experience in injection molding and a deep understanding of the technical aspects involved. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and refine injection molding processes to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Mold Design: Design, evaluate, and modify molds to meet product specifications and production requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to mold performance, equipment, and processes in a timely manner.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet strict quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and production teams to achieve project goals.
- Training & Development: Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of processes, modifications, and outcomes to ensure traceability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in injection molding, with a strong background in process optimization, mold design, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. Strong understanding of materials science and molding technologies.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of resolving complex engineering challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
