Position Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Blink Device Company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer motivated by Blink’s mission to improve patient safety in anesthesia. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and project managers to ensure the delivery of top-tier medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Take ownership of electrical hardware design and implementation throughout the entire development process, from prototyping to production.
· Lead circuit schematic design and PCB layout efforts.
· Manage component sourcing and documentation.
· Conduct thorough verification and validation testing.
· Troubleshoot product failures.
· Review and analyze component lifecycle, availability & supply chain risks.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
· 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
· Extensive experience and proven expertise in electrical hardware design.
· Proficiency in schematic capture tools and PCB layout products.
· Proficiency in digital and analog circuit design and utilization of test equipment.
· Hands-on experience with board bring-up and debugging.
· Familiarity with IEC standards.
· Experience optimizing designs for manufacturing, testability, sourcing, assembly ease, and cost-effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
· Background in designing hardware for medical devices.
· Proficiency in Design for Safety and EMC compliance.
· Knowledge of embedded firmware development.
· Experience with digital and analog signal processing.
· Proficiency in implementing RFID.
· Familiarity with ARM-based product integration.
· Basic understanding of C or C++ programming.
