- We are a busy and established surgical center in need of a medical assistant. MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS. Bilingual a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- The medical assistant is required to have a flexible schedule
- The medical assistant is required to Answer calls in timely manner, take messages
- The medical assistant is required to Check-in/out each patient upon arrival and departure for their appointment
- The medical assistant is required to Administer check in/out forms, explain paperwork/policies, as needed
- The medical assistant is required to Print and distribute schedules for next day/prep charts
- The medical assistant is required to Maintaining a clean, tidy and orderly reception area
- The medical assistant is required to assist where needed
Qualifications:
- Full Time Position
- Aware of HIPAA laws
- General knowledge of medical documents
- Bilingual is a plus
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of related experience in the medical field
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in Excel
