FOH Manager
The role as FOH Manager, you will be directly responsible of overseeing the daily restaurant operations. Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, coordinating employee schedules, learning payroll, order supplies, managing budgets, resolving customer complaints and ensuring company protocols are being followed.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow directions from the General Manager on all aspects of Operations.
Direct oversight of day-to-day operations, organizing and supervising, including executing companywide shared standards, dining room management, and striving for a genuine guest experience and guest satisfaction.
Coordinate daily restaurant management operations.
Able to execute New Hire Packages for all new staff that must always be approved by HR Director before allowing any new staff members to begin work.
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
Delivering superior food and beverage service maximizing customer satisfaction.
Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints.
Displays role modeling through visible actions for all staff including being active in all areas of the restaurant (front desk, bar/lounge, kitchen, and main dining room) for the whole dining period.
Maintain patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings. Initiating improvements and building relationships with patrons.
Help Maintain exceptional Tequila Cart displays and updated menus and prices.
Responsible for overseeing the beverage program assigned (Liquor, Wine, and Beer) and maintaining proper Inventory levels. (If applicable)
Forward liquor and beverage orders to the GM and Director of Operations for approval prior to placing the order.
Create and develop incentive programs to reinvigorate staff and promote sales.
Making sure staff is knowledgeable on food and beverage menus and ensuring sales as a result.
Hold staff accountable to uphold uniform and grooming standards to the highest level.
Executing schedules in a timely manner. Usually by the Sunday before the next fiscal week beginning Thursday.
Assist in maintaining departments always well-staffed by hiring and maintaining employees only approved by the GM.
Attends and is actively engaged in weekly manager meetings.
Accomplish restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff. Communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions. Enforcing policies and procedures.
Maintaining labor under control.
Maintain safe, secure, and a healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with healthy and legal regulations, maintaining security systems.
Drives performance through ongoing team and individual feedback through evaluation, coaching and counseling.
Maintain a safe and secure working environment following the Safety Training Program and maintaining security systems.
