SCHOOL FAMILY CULTURE
At BPCP we are intentional about creating a safe and nurturing environment for our children and our teachers. We have 4 classrooms and a team of 12 teachers and administrators educating and caring for 35-45 students from the ages of 3 weeks to 6 years. We value a respectful environment, embrace the diversity of our team, and love to have fun! Our team is extremely supportive of new teachers, and because of this, we ensure new teachers are welcomed and prepared. To achieve this, each school year, we spend 8 days before the start of the year planning, participating in professional development, and bonding with one another. The goal is to become comfortable in your environment, learn BPCP processes, and build new relationships with your colleagues! During this time, you will also participate in orientation. Your Director will help you adjust to your room and will be your support as you make this new classroom your own! We truly believe in work/life balance—these are not just words to us. Your schedule as a teacher at BPCP is Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We are closed for all FCPS student holidays. Occasionally, School Family events fall outside of the school day.

We have an aligned curriculum that guides children through preschool and into school readiness. We know you are a talented professional, so we want you to have room to let your skills shine. You will have access to the best arts, crafts, and toy storage closets and teacher workroom you have ever seen! Did we mention that we just renovated the ENTIRE church and preschool, and your classroom is BRAND NEW??? With CLOSETS! You will receive paid plan time, have access to an extra teacher for those crazy, messy activities, and feel supported if you ever have questions or feel overwhelmed. As leaders in early education, we know how hard you work and want to provide you with the right environment. You will be fully valued and be able to work to the fullest capacity of your talents! Our team is fair and ensures a good work/life balance, not just for longer-term employees, but for everyone! If this sounds like an environment you would like to be part of, we look forward to hearing from you!
