Job Description: We are seeking a skilled In-House Architect with a strong background in construction to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can seamlessly integrate architectural design and construction processes to drive project success from conception through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine architectural designs that align with client specifications, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with construction managers, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with construction plans.
- Produce detailed working drawings and specifications using CAD software and other architectural tools.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to integrate practical construction insights into architectural designs.
- Manage documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all architectural plans and permits are accurate and compliant with local building codes and regulations.
- Lead the architectural review process, presenting designs to clients and stakeholders and incorporating feedback to refine project plans.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to architectural specifications and making adjustments as necessary to address challenges encountered on site.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in architecture and construction technologies, adopting sustainable and innovative practices to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and architectural visualization tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from an architectural standpoint.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs in real-time to meet construction demands.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and sustainability practices.
- Experience in [specific type of construction, e.g., high-rise, residential, commercial] is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
