Financial Services Associate - Paraplanner

The Paraplanner directly supports two advisors and their clients and assists in the implementation of duties as described below. The following list is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities, but rather an overview of those which are of chief importance:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare agendas and forms for client appointments
- Prepare preliminary proposals, asset allocation reports, and hypothetical illustrations
- Manage client meeting follow-up tasks – complete or delegate
- Conduct check-in calls on follow-up items
- Prepare correspondence for advisor signature
- Follow-up with home office on a variety of service issues
- Maintain client management system (CRM), documenting calls, emails, letters, and tasks
- Review and interpret financial statements
- Arrange financial transactions on behalf of clients (money wires, check requests, etc.)
- Assist in preparations for regulatory compliance inquiries and branch audits
Knowledge & Experience Required
- BA/BS degree in business administration, finance, or similar field of study
- Minimum of 2-years of financial planning or wealth management experience
- General knowledge of financial planning and securities industry terminology
Competitive salary of $65,000 to $85,000, based on experience, plus bonuses.
