Requires the ability to read and interpret job specifications route sheets(work orders( and the use of set-up sheets where available. Must know and understand company quality policy and safety procedures for operating power equipment. Set-up employees must have the knowledge and understanding of gages used for set-ups to insure a conforming part. Good math and computer skills are necessary when using data in finalize set-ups.
No previous work experience required. On the job training will be the method to train operators.
