Tate’s Bake Shop is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join the QA team. As a QA Technician, you would work in the lab to test Tate’s Cookies for different analytical attributes and will also be responsible for calibrating and verifying lab equipment data to ensure the cookies are maintaining their high food safety and quality standards. The technician will also be responsible for analyzing the analytical data. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are important in maintaining accurate, organized documentation. You would maintain a strong line of communication with the Quality Compliance Manager to ensure irregularities are reported diligently.
What can you expect on the job?
- Monitor product quality using thermometers, pH meters, hunter (colorimeter), weighing scale, and others equipment.
- Maintain clean and functional equipment.
- Follow proper chemical and machine handling techniques.
- Follow proper documentation guidelines.
- Maintain records and follow retention policies.
- Report quality and safety infringements to QA Manager.
- Assist in retrieving documents for audits.
- Trending analytical data
- Environmental Swabbing
- Other related duties as assigned.

What should you bring?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role required.
What will your schedule look like?
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Weekend availability on an asneeded basis is required.
- Must be flexible.
