Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including order entry, invoicing, and tracking shipments
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information about products, pricing, and availability
- Prepare and distribute sales reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., logistics, production, sales, finance) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers
- Maintain and update customer records
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within our internal departments
- Support the sales team in preparing for customer meetings, trade shows, and other events
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues, escalating to the appropriate team members when necessary
Skills:
- Strong commitment to providing top-notch customer support and resolving issues efficiently.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with underlayment flooring products and industry trends is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support or B2B communication and support, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
