- Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks and strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring fast and reliable feedback on software quality.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure test automation is aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to QA engineers on best practices for test automation.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and train QA team members on test automation tools and techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and recommend improvements to existing frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in test automation.
- Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based testing tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Certifications in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
