Shift- Wednesday-Saturday 3:45pm-4:15am. Off Sunday-Tuesday.

About the Job:
- Understand and follow safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all areas of safety.
- Comprehend all related work instructions, equipment manuals and SOP manuals in order to perform required maintenance and service.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work space and report any unsafe working conditions, faulty operations or defective material to the Maintenance Manager.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment per established PM schedule to ensure equipment breakdown delay is minimized, process capability is maximized, and production and quality performance targets are met.
- Conduct emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment with minimal impact to production.
- Complete all required documentation per established processes and procedures.
- Exercise effective decision making with respect to the cost of repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What does it take to be a Maintenance Technician for the Diez Group? Below are the minimum qualifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of formal technical experience.
- Industrial controls repair and programming experience preferred.
- Allen Bradley PLC Certification is a plus.
- Previous crane and/or forklift operating experience is a plus.
- Excellent mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of arithmetic.
- Self-motivated, self-directed and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of handling multiple activities at the same time.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to repeatedly lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Flexible with working overtime as needed.
- Must adhere to all company policies, including attendance.
- Must be able to read and understand English

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
