Job Title: Hospice RN
Location: [Spring Texas ]
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice RN to join our team. As a Hospice RN, you will be responsible for providing end-of-life care to patients and their families. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and managing patients' symptoms and pain
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educating patients and families on end-of-life care
- Providing emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Documenting patient care in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- RN license [Active, state license as a registered nurse, or a multi-state license issued by a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) member state]
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice or palliative care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and families
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and emotionally challenging environment

Requirements:
Job Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. Licensure: Current license as a registered nurse (RN) and/or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), current Driver's License.Experience: One year experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting preferred, hospice preferred.Skills: Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Specialized skills preferred in palliation and end-of-life. Proof of current CPR. Must read, write and comprehend English.Transportation: Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
